Guests also enjoy access to a private sauna and steam room—an indulgent way to unwind after a day of tasting and exploring. Outside, La Petite Maison at Chateau Sonoma is very much alive. This is a working farm with vineyards producing a beautiful rosé, seasonal harvests throughout summer and fall, and friendly resident animals including goats, chickens, and a beloved pony named Party Girl. Despite the pastoral setting, you’re just a five-minute drive to the Sonoma Plaza and a short drive to renowned wineries, restaurants, tasting rooms, and boutique shopping—offering the rare combination of rural charm and central convenience. Please note: The apartment occupies the entire upper level of Sarah’s four-car garage and is accessed by a wide wooden staircase. The restroom is located in a separate building approximately 10 feet away and requires going down one flight of stairs to access. This unique layout is part of the historic nature of the property and contributes to its authentic farm-stay experience.
